[PlanGuru Analytics (powered by Reach Reporting)](https://help.planguru.com/knowledge/planguru-app-online?hsLang=en#planguru-analytics-powered-by-reach-reporting) # Add a User in PlanGuru Analytics ## This guide walks through the process of adding a new user and inviting them to PlanGuru Analytics. PlanGuru Analytics lets your team collaborate on dashboards, reports, and analytics. Before someone can access Analytics, they must first exist as a user in **PlanGuru**. --- ### **Step 1: Confirm the user exists in PlanGuru** 1. Log in to [**PlanGuru**](https://app.planguru.com/#/auth/login) 2. Select **Edit Profile & Preferences**. ![Screenshot 2026-07-30 at 11.26.09 AM](https://help.planguru.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202026-07-30%20at%2011.26.09%20AM.png?width=480&height=368&name=Screenshot%202026-07-30%20at%2011.26.09%20AM.png) Review the lists of: - **Additional Users** (for Business/Nonprofit Plans) - **Advisor / Client Users **(for Advisor Plans) **Found them?** Skip to Step 3 **Not in PlanGuru yet?** Continue to Step 2 **Note:** A user can be added to PlanGuru with **"NO ACCESS" to PlanGuru App scenarios** and still get access to Analytics. --- ### **2. Add the User to PlanGuru** (if needed) 1. Add them as a new PlanGuru user. 2. Assign the appropriate permissions and click **SUBMIT**.  -  An invitation email will be sent automatically to create a password. Once they accept the invite and create their password, they can be added to Analytics.  > **Tip:** If the user only needs access to Analytics dashboards and reports, you can add them to a Company with **NO ACCESS to PlanGuru models** while still allowing them to use PlanGuru Analytics. --- ### **3. Log in to [PlanGuru Analytics](https://analytics.planguru.com/login) to add the new User** Once logged into PlanGuru Analytics, you will see a list of Companies within your account.  ![Screenshot 2026-07-30 at 11.59.15 AM](https://help.planguru.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202026-07-30%20at%2011.59.15%20AM.png?width=670&height=117&name=Screenshot%202026-07-30%20at%2011.59.15%20AM.png) Here you will select what type of access to add the user to. **There are 3 different user roles within PlanGuru Analytics:** 1. **Group Access** - Access to ALL Companies within your workspace with Read/Write and Publish capabilities. Click **INVITE**, the user will receive an email inviting them to access PlanGuru Analytics.
